Placement Cell fees paid through this portal are generally non-refundable. The fee is collected to cover placement-related services including campus recruitment drives, pre-placement training, industry interactions, and career counseling throughout the academic year.
2. Exceptional Circumstances
Refund requests may be considered in the following exceptional circumstances:
- Duplicate payment due to technical error
- Payment made for incorrect proforma
- Student withdrawal from the institution before placement activities commence
- Medical emergencies with supporting documentation
- Other circumstances as approved by the Placement Cell authorities
3. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, students must follow these steps:
- Submit a written application to the Placement Cell office
- Include original payment receipt and proforma details
- Provide valid reason with supporting documents (if applicable)
- Include bank account details for refund transfer
4. Refund Processing Time
If a refund is approved, the processing timeline is as follows:
- Review of application: 5-7 working days
- Approval/rejection notification: Within 10 working days
- Refund processing: 15-30 working days after approval
- Bank transfer: Depends on banking procedures (typically 3-5 days)
5. Refund Amount
The refund amount will be calculated as follows:
- For duplicate payments: Full amount refunded
- For early withdrawal: Pro-rata basis as per institutional policy
- Transaction charges by payment gateway may be deducted
6. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:
- Student not getting placed through campus recruitment
- Student opting out of placement activities after fee payment
- Change of mind after successful payment
- Request made after completion of placement season
7. Cancellation Policy
Once a payment is initiated and successfully processed, cancellation is not possible. Please verify all details before proceeding with payment.
